Arctic Base

This base combines the concrete brutalist architecture of the 50s with the futuristic design of blast doors and heat pipes. Inspired by high visibility clothing and mountain climbing equipment, this outpost’s bright colors contrast with the frozen landscape for better visibility during blizzards.

Once I have a vision, I gather references to define the direction I'm going. I create a blockout of the scene to ensure proper proportions and positioning. Next I create models that fill the blockout using subd and boolean workflows. In Unreal Engine, decals and props decorate the scene. Blueprint assets like Ultra Dynamic Sky bring the scene together with cinematic clouds and snowfall. Materials and camera settings are adjusted to make the scene feel more alive and vibrant.
